Most of you have probably already seen this on Twitter and/or Facebook, but I didn’t want to exclude anyone who I’m only LJ friends with.

I found out today that I’m going to Kyrgyzstan on a Fulbright fellowship! I’ll be there from roughly August until May, and I’ll be studying language policy and its effects on the education system.

That’s actually all the details that I know right now. I’ve got an orientation in June in DC where I’m guessing I’ll find out the rest.

So…yay!

Made it to Maryland. We only had to stop four times. Family road trips ft…something.

lovely reunion with friends from college v1.0. Long car ride with family tomorrow. So pluses and minuses all around.

Oh, and a 3.47 this semester. 1 A, 2 A-s, 1 B+. (and a “pass”, but that doesn’t count). So we’ll call fall 09 a success

Xmas shopping started and finished in 5 hours today. Spent more on myself than anyone else. Whoops.
